Three Little Red-Heads

“Redheads. We’re a Limited Edition of Fascination. A Unique & Rare Blend of Awesomeness.”

Stephanie Lahart

Of the five foals expected to be born at Western Pleasure Guest Ranch this spring, three have been born healthy, lively and red-headed! Two more mares are yet to foal. Four of our five pregnant mares were bred to Smart Little Sign, a black and white Appaloosa stallion. Our one foal last spring by the same stallion was a carbon copy of his daddy so we had high hopes for loud Appaloosa coloring again this spring. Instead of spots we have two sorrel fillies and a red dun. Of course, we are thrilled to have healthy foals and healthy mamas.  When all is said and done, when breeding and raising horses, that is all you really need; a healthy foal and a healthy mare.  A few spots here and there is just icing on the cake.

We are thrilled to introduce Fawn, Mary Kate and Suzie Q!
